Instituted in 2022, AUSTRAHIND marks its second edition with this joint military exercise. The inaugural session took place in Mahajan, Rajasthan, setting the stage for an annual training event alternating between India and Australia.

Objectives: Collaboration, Interoperability, and Tactical Excellence
The primary aim of AUSTRAHIND-23 is to nurture a collaborative partnership, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening the defense cooperation between these two friendly nations. The exercise focuses on enhancing interoperability, particularly in multi-domain operations in urban and semi-urban terrains under Chapter VII of the United Nations, emphasizing peacekeeping operations.
Training Insights: Beyond Tactical Excellence
