Hyderabad : T-Hub and HAL team together to support aerospace and defence start-ups

T-Hub, an initiative of the Telangana government, has partnered with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navratna Defence PSU, to promote entrepreneurs in the aerospace and defence composite sector.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between T-Hub and HAL will help startups create Proof of Concepts (PoC), offering them the chance to gather industry knowledge, and assisting them in realising their ideas.

From 2021 to 2027, startups in the aerospace and defence composite sectors are expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.1%. T-Hub will give businesses access to mentorship, training, and support services as well as their knowledge in specialised technology fields.

Startups will now be able to gain support to bring their ideas to market,» said T-Hub CEO Mahankali Srinivas Rao.

This can include access to specialized facilities and equipment, guidance on industry best practices, and opportunities for collaboration and co-innovation,» the CEO added.
